About Us

Several years ago, I wanted to give relatives a gift that would be meaningful, useful, and appreciated. They owned two Labrador dogs and enjoyed a glass of wine after a challenging week at work. Due to financial constraints, purchasing Labrador engraved wine glasses was not feasible, so an alternative I created my own by making handmade ones. The process was frustrating, firstly using an etching fluid and not quite liking the result. This resulted in ‘upgrading’ my process. I used a cardboard box, inserted a plastic window and sealed it. I then used a tiny air brush kit to etch a design onto the glasses. I was thrilled with what I had designed and created, as were my relatives. A gift, whether to yourself or for someone else, should mean something and be within everyone’s price range…thus, an idea was born in my head that somehow has led Ray and I here. Making affordable glassware for everyone to enjoy.

We do not have professional qualifications, but we have years of experience creating glassware. We approach our work with dedication, care, and effort because each piece of glass represents our commitment to our craft. Why primarily dogs? My own dogs have supported me through some challenging periods in my life. They have brought me joy, laughter, and at times, moments of madness!  Pets are integral members of the family and they share in both the highs and lows. If I were to celebrate anything in life, it would be the wonderful dogs and cats that have been a part of my life over the years.

So, that is our (very short version) story. We are a team of two who work diligently to provide personalised attention to our glassware. Two humble people who can now raise our own hand-crafted glasses in celebration of family members, some of whom are no longer with us but will never be forgotten.
